Hello! Got a few questions...
Hello, i have yet to purchase this game, but i am extremely excited about it, And i have a few questions..
How's the EXP grind in this game? can you solo often? I am a former FFXI player, and god, i dont want to re-live that experience. Also, What is the max level? i've searched but i cant seem to find a true answer. And, lastly, in final fantasy XI, you'd have to level up to like 75 to fight "HNMs" AKA Big boss battle guys, what level do you have to be in this to do so? I keep seeing things about level not really mattering, but im not quite sure what that means. Thanks for any replies, and i think im going to be getting this game tomorrow. hurray! |

See the stickies. The cap is 20, and it only takes a few days of serious play to get there.
There is pretty much no grind at all. You can "solo" almost everything 1-20 using henchmen NPCs that act as party members. |

ok cool. thanks alot. And sorry for not searching up at the stickies first, ><
When do they plan on raising the cap? (not that it really matters, since i LOVE the no fee option.) |

They most likely wont be raising it. The point of the low cap is to get everyone on an even playing field quickly, and so they can thne focus on only level 20 content in the future.

Ahhh, i see. I like their way of thinking then,
I hated in FFXI how by the time you started playing, there were already 75's running around, but this game i think is going to be really cool. Is there a world map around anywhere? I'm curious as to how big the world is. (sorry for all these questions, xD) |

No problem. That's not a complete map, it doesn't have a few of the higher level areas, but should give you an idea on world size. |

oohh, thats pretty big.
Is it possible to run from one side of the world to the other? Are there things that make travel faster? (Again, sorry for all these questions, lol) |

Yes, you can run the whole way. There is nothing that makes travel faster, but you can teleport between any town and mission area you've been to at any time. After you finish a mission it will transport you to the next area so you don't have to walk.
